Error Fix is a useful program that will remove any errors we may have in our Windows registry. It is possible to choose to scan the entire computer or just a given drive, removable device, or any other item. We can schedule automatic scans at a given time/period. Moreover, we can tell the program what to do the next time we start the computer, if for any reason the scheduled task is still pending.
This program features a startup manager, a valuable option that allows us to view, analyze, remove, disable the items that run on startup and get detailed information about them. Some of these items may have been added without our knowledge/permission; and having them all enabled may cause a slow startup, loss of privacy, etc.
The scanning process takes a long time, but if we need to use the computer at its best, we can stop this application and resume later. Error Fix can be tried free of charge. The evaluation version lets us scan our computer and use the startup manager, including removing startup items, without any time limit.
